Full Darkfall Presentation

I already wrote about the Athens Event and posted the vid with a short gameplay footage, but here's the recently released full version.

It's nearly 500 MB large and you can download it here (torrent), or from this Filefront link.

Although the quality of the video is ... well nearly horrible, not to mention the sound, it's a nice preview for those who are grasping at straws.

From what I can tell, the graphics in Darkfall are amazing, especially the shadows. It does appear the game has some bugs, which is of course expected but still not nice to show on a presentation. Interface doesn't look all that intuitive as they want us to believe, but I'll have to try it myself first -- perhaps I'm mistaken.

Darkfall Release Date Announced

Finally the date is set! January 22nd, 2009.

Here's an excerpt from the press release:

Athens, Greece – December 5th, 2008 - Audio Visual Enterprises SA and Aventurine SA in a joint statement today announced that their highly anticipated MMORPG title Darkfall Online will launch across Europe on January 22nd, 2009. North American players are also welcome to participate in the European launch of Darkfall which will precede a North American launch.

Let's pray the launch will be smooth and the game even better than we expected!
